YOU are the biggest asset for YOUR business.

when YOU run a business, YOU are the most important asset for it.

if YOU are not around, no one's gonna give a fuck about YOUR business or vision.

because YOU have the real obsession and that obsession can't be transferred to anyone.

it comes from YOUR soul.

so take care of YOURSELF.

initially when i used to spend money on myself while running my business, i used to have this guilt that i'm not spending money wisely.

i should save it for the business.

but slowly i've realised i'm the business.

especially in creative and bootstrapped businesses, the founder is the biggest asset.

nothing can replace her.

this made me comfortable with spending some money on myself.

that includes buying protein, joining a good gym, taking care of diet, changing apartment to a better one, etc.

and to be honest, my business has improved since then.

new apartment has space, a cool balcony with tree branches coming in, isn't very noisy, is very close to shops and market, also it's in the mid floor so it remains cool (most important one) all the time.

the next spendings will be on buying a good mattress and a cooler. the ones i have right now are quite cheap.

the mattress i have is made of thin thermocouple-ish material and i bought it for $7 when i had just moved out of my home.

and the cooler is a small one with a very noisy motor and leaks water. my younger brother bought it ~ 4 years ago.

obv don't spend money on mindless luxury. doing so will kill YOUR business faster than anything else.

thumb rule is buy things YOU NEED, not YOU WANT.

remember, YOU'RE the key asset of YOUR business.
