take it slow
love is (and should be) developed slowly.
because too much excitement leads you to say or do things that you wouldn't do in a rational mood.
you might end up committing too early.
you might end up judging too early.
you might end up saying things that make you sound like a jerk.
so avoid being in a hurry.
take it slow. control that excitement and please don't think about giving her good night kisses and having cute lil kids.
avoid that day-dreaming. it'll create false expectations and will hurt you when things won't go the way you had dreamt.
also true love develops when it goes through a
persistence-test
in my definition, a persistence-test is basically a
period when circumstances don't allow the proximity of any kind, or
sometimes we just get bored.
i.e. you don't talk to her for a long time and she also can't for N number of reasons like changing circumstances, places, work, etc.
in this time the thread of love bw you and her becomes really weak and in 99% of the cases it breaks. both ends fall apart and both get busy in their own lives. forgetting each other.
the rest 1% who survive become "made-for-each-other" kinda thing (i ain't shakespeare) for forever.
also i think the reason this 1% group survives is because they genuinely love each other. not sexual attraction, not desire to have a cute looking gf/bf, etc. just pure love.
during persistence-test both try hard to not break that
thread of proximity, love, care.
(just to note that this persistence-test doesn't happen
once only. it takes place throughout whole life. true love just
becomes pro at dealing with it.)
so take it slow. time is the best conclusion-er (yeah i made this word up but you get the vibe).
