i don't like calls.

calls are just waste of time.

reason: you can't do anything else while you're in a call.

you have to cut a slot of time from your day for a call.

while in case of a text you can answer while you're eating, walking or cuddling your gf.

most "hop into a call"s and "meetings" are just a waste of time and can be replaced through a text.

also people who can't express themselves in text aren't very good articulators because writing takes articulation of thoughts.

that's why they prefer call over text.

but that wastes the time of the person sitting in front.

obv. there're cases when a call makes a lot of sense than text but in most cases we can use text over a call.

when i hired an intern the first time, we rarely had calls, we used to talk through text, github issues and comments.

async communication is what makes the life good!
